Estate Names

Region lords can now give names to estates. This has not game effect, but allows for more personalisation and more roleplaying depth. Also, it makes it easier to talk about estates. Instead of saying "Anyone want to take an estate in my region?", you can now write "The estate of Twin Towers within Keplerville is in need of a new knight."

After all it's a roleplaying game.

Boo, we want this on stable too! When is this stuff coming to stable, again?

I love it! Although there's a minor bug, but that's on the tracker to look at in your leisure.

nice touch. i think it should show up in realm hierarchy too. though that might make the page a bit on the really long side..

I REALLY think the realm hierarchy page should look more like a diagram, or a heraldic tree, and the estate names would be a nice touch.  We need more visual elements.

This is great.

It really bothers me that every change on GovernEstates requires an hour though. Tom, what would you say to allowing bulk updates to the values there?
Born in Day they knew the Light; Rulers, prophets, servants, and warriors.
Life in Night that they walk; Gods, heretics, thieves, and murderers.

No. We have another change lined up for the near (but not immediate) future that will solve this in a different way.

Great, should aid into the game immersion and add to the RP.

So I changed a few of Farrowfields estates names but the names only show up on my politics page for managing estates. The names are not listed in the Regional site pages under the estates tab. There they only list the knights names and Vacant. Will estate names be listed there as well, perhaps next the the knight/lord who governs that estate?

Nice option, though I'm not sure where it can be seen and by whom. I've got a knight on the plateau, and there's a vacant estate by the harbor and by the market now. Mine is, of course, at the old palace.
