Trade bits
« Topic Start: April 10, 2012, 10:37:57 AM »
1) add realm column to market. we know noble X of region Y is trading. but you don't know what realm that is without looking it up... unless you are familiar with the region names and can recall it off the top of your hat. - does not have to be its own column (eg.. can be region Y, realm Z as 1 column), but own column means you can sort by realm. probably more useful.

2) add sanction/trade partner status. so you don't have to have a full blown alliance or war for the purpose of utilising the allies only / no trade with at war realm trade functions. presumably as part of the revamped treaty matrix. or unlikely as it is, in old diplo matrix.

1) why? Is the realm important in this context?

2) For the new treaty system we have something like that on the table already. For the old, this will not happen, there is already enough options based on diplomacy available.

yes and no. personally it doesn't matter in that i buy/sell from any and everyone , but you know there are realms that are like "only buy food from us after the banker agrees"... or "buying our food without consent is economic warfare" when they stick up open offers.

obviously, it's nothing that you can't look up on a separate page already.

I hope that attitude goes away with the new trade system, which is intentionally less protective, exactly so that more "unintended" trade happens.
