They say the war is for food but both regions they try to do a takeover on they do a brutal takeover so that when they do take it over its worth crap foodwise plus instead of being a decent realm and asking for Carelia to try and sell some food to them they just declare war out of the blue and say its a misunderstanding.
Why would we ask you to sell us food when we can just take the regions that provide it? I mean, think a little bit longer term here. You need to be able to feed your realm if you want to go to war. The reason is legit, we have starving cities and don't want to rely on CE or some other bloc to feed us.
