I guess I'm the only one who prefers the old one then...

No, no, I'm with you on this. I like the old one. It seems brighter to me, more of a draw. Which is what logos are supposed to do, advertise something, like BM for instance.

which one ?

That fiery portal logo (thanks JPierreD). It was up for just one day but it was the best one.
Just stay alive and kicking, raise your voice when its needed. Through reason you can show the mistakes of others, something violence can't do.

If I have to choose between the given two, I would choose the new one.

Not the only one :-)

+1 for higher definition old logo.

Failing that, +1 for higher definition in general (new logo).
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

Perhaps a poll should be done so that we have more precise numbers plus some people will vote but not feel like posting about it.

+1 for higher definition old logo.

Well, that's the problem. I didn't make the old one, so I don't have the original artwork, which makes creating a high-def one nigh impossible.

It's not a vote.

If it's impossible, better fix that now with a new logo than never. :)

I like the old one also for being brighter looking and more eye-catching.

If we're going to go for the new one anyway, I would suggest increasing the contrast between the text and the background and making it more vibrant in general.
