Rogues disappearing?

Something that I have noticed recently on Atamara is that rogues tend to occasionally disappear, often right after they have spawned (they spawn, then next turn the realm is notified about them, and the following turn they have totally disappeared without a battle being fought against them).

Is this normal?

Too many people killed too many monsters. They are going extinct. We need to start building zoos to stop them from dying out.

I'm guessing what happens is that they immediately move to an adjacent region that is not a part of your realm anymore. We have many rogue regions in Atamara now. It's not that unusual for a rogue group to spawn inside your realm, and then immediately wander over to a rogue region next door. Or they move into a neighboring realm. Either way it's probably not your problem anymore. :)

I sometimes see several rogue groups hiding in a rogue region at the same time.

They wanna govern themselves, they can kill their own damn monsters.

Monster protection program should be initiated.

I was referring specifically to the rogues that spawned in Etoge, then disappeared (as commented on by Berlas). I suppose they could have gone through to Alcatil - I always forget that it reaches quite far into CE. If that is the case - I wonder why there wasn't any move notification?

It seems there must be some sort of bug here...

Rogues occasionally disband on their own. You should get a message about it, though, I believe.

Generally you get a message that the group is leaving the region.

Sometimes undead disappear if they are low on numbers:

Not sure about monsters though.
Just stay alive and kicking, raise your voice when its needed. Through reason you can show the mistakes of others, something violence can't do.
