What requirements are there to become a lord? I'm guessing that it's a certain h/p and time in realm but does anyone know the exact numbers? Thanks

Bael

In truth, I believe the only requirement is being elected or appointed. AFAIK The h/p requirements only refer to council positions.

Just stay alive and kicking, raise your voice when its needed. Through reason you can show the mistakes of others, something violence can't do.

I don't break rules, I bend them- a lot.

No, there definitely is (or maybe was) a prestige requirement. I remember waaaay back in the early days of Astrum we tried to make Constantine a lord but we couldn't as he did not gain enough prestige prior to becoming a priest.

I believe the requirement is 10 points of prestige, but I've been batting zeroes lately so don't necessarily take my word for it...

I believe there is a P/h requirement, but not sure what it is. 10 points of prestige is for council positions though. I am thinking that is is somewhere around 3-5, though I could be wrong.

There is definatly a requirement because one of my characters was going to be given a region but he couldn't but he was fairly new then (over 14 days in realm though which is one requirement). Sorry about the misspelt name aswell, I'm working away and using a mobile!)

well.. that's the appointment bit.

but i think anyone and their dog can run in elections. (if said election is opened to everyone and dog)

Theres an election in Melhed and my character can't become a candidate because he has less than 10 prestige. It says for all government position aswell.

Ya, All council (gov positions) positions require a prestige of 10.

I've been elected once as lord though (old account) when I was only 8 (maybe 10) days in the realm. I don't know if the same is possible through appointment though...

That's only for elected positions. To get appointed, the requirement is 5 prestige.
