How is it now that when my steward sells my food on the market.... they now get the bonds when it sells?

Not that I mind this knight getting a slight bonus... but when we are selling massive amounts each market visit... I don't want them to get THAT much bonus...lol.

(This in on Atamara in CE)

just like they pay out of their own pocket when buying food for region, if they sell food, they pocket the money

It didn't used to be that way... so then I guess I have to figure out how to make it back to market's weekly to put food on the market.

It's the reward for their work.

You can think about telling the Steward to send you the profits (Even though he's doing the work!), or reduce his Estate Size / increase the Lord Share to compensate for the extra income he's getting. Of course, if you can pull that off ;)

If you can't, maybe you're the steward, and he's the lord, and you just don't know it yet....
After all it's a roleplaying game.

... just build a market in every single region or every other region.

Hah! My steward sends me the bonds he makes without me even telling him to. Good lad, that one.

You could raise your lord's share.

You can only build markets in townslands, cities, and strongholds.

Damn, i didn't have to buy my Lord's favour by sending him back the bonds gained, i feel betray and without capacity to be greedy and egoist. I'm too honest to be a noble.

But it's ok, i got a promotion, now your next steward can steal your bonds ! :P

But seriously, unless you produce tons of food, the money gained that way is not really significant considering the help it can offers you. If it bothers you, you still have the power to raise your share, or strongly suggest him to give you a part or maybe you just don't really need a steward.

But then it's all part of how your characters see that responsibility and what you both expect. As a steward, i was keeping only a very small part of it, because my character acted it wasn't his food and part of knight-Lord expected agreement. And like it's been mentioned if he ever need to buy some foods later it kinda balances at the end.

I like it the way it is, it gives you freedom to show a part of the personality of your character, the way he handles the job or how he expected the jobs to be done.

Whoever considers 10-20 extra bonds per week to be too much to give to their knights needs to find richer region/townsland/cities. :P

Well i sold what? 900 bushels in a week? bushels you mostly bought from outside the realm. I sold them at about 30 gold per 100 bushels, an average of 270 bonds, i think i probably gave you back about 250 in bonds, just in case you got an other deal and need bonds. At least, that's how i was thinking, i won't fight for bonds while the realm is starving and you try to get foods.

I guess it was a special situation, slightly different from the OP i guess. In Atamara, especially in CE i think they have enough food for 5 consecutive winters, I'm actually surprised he found a buyer.
