The Blasphemous Arcaean Empire has murdered the Seer Thain Himoura for imagined crimes at the tyrannical whims of the despot and Arch-Heretic Velax de Vere. Hundreds of thousands mourn the passing of the Seer, and demand justice for this act of sacrilege, though many note the correlation between the one eyed Seer's passing and Odin's hanging from the world tree. Many are interpreting the signs, and they do not look favorable for the Empire and its Sartanist Witches.

An alternative report of the execution of the traitor:

Tens of thousands lined the streets of Remton to see the traitor and oathbreaker Thain Himoura executed by suspension hanging. He was led screaming, cursing and pelted with rotten fruit through the streets of the Arcaean capital to be strung up in the central square. His threats of bloody retribution were cut short as the noose tightened around his neck. The cheers of thousands could be heard as the traitor thrashed on the end of the rope before finally falling still. Afterward, Thain's body was taken away by Imperial troops to an unknown location.

Barely 20 minutes after Thain ceased thrashing on the end of the rope, a new Himoura appeared in Kindara - one with the exact same personality and knowledge as the executed Thain.

Close to three thousand Empire troops marched together on the citadel of Ipsosez as the sun set last night. The Aenilian troops fought bravely but were outmatched and outnumbered, and in hours the Empire's banner flew over the royal palace.

The Aenilian General, Lady High Paladin Tinwe Huntmaster, was killed in the fighting by King Azgath.

Zonasan troops have wrested control of Aenilia's last stronghold, Ipsosez. With only two non-city regions remaining and their nobles abandoning the realm, it appears Aenilia as a realm is dead.

The founder and first king of Coralynth, King Azgath Cyrith stepped down from his throne and retired. (Azgath had been an active character since 2005, and King of Coralynth since 2012.)

An election was held, and Lady Eva Ji'Ardan was elected as the new Queen of Coralynth.

The Order of the Elders has been destroyed in the Far East. Growing desperate after unwisely declaring a crusade on the Empire and having it quickly turn against them, the religion began engaging in human sacrifice and it is widely believed the starvation that affected the north and the glacier that quickly followed in the south was a result of the Order's incompetent meddling in dark forces.

As the Order's elders and priests were driven from the Far East by the Empire, its temples fell into ruins and its followers abandoned the religion in droves. Now nothing is left of the Order in the Far East save rubble and memories.
