If you have a specific SMF mod that you suggest I install, please post it here together with a short reason why and what it would add to the forum. No unspecific feature requests, open up individual threads for those - this is for specific SMF mods that already exist and that you can point to.

• Multi Quote Mod - Allows for cross-board quote linking, which is the sort of thing that would prove useful in OOC discussions or for referring to material.
• Remove images from quotes - Prevents "quote trains" of posts containing large images.
• Spoiler BBC functionality (or this alternative) - Always useful for compressing large blocks of text into easy-to-read sections, offer others a chance not to read something, or to hide large images in a thread to speed up page rendering.
• Auto merge double posts - Prevents users from doubleposting.
• BCC functionality in PM's - For those diplomatic discussions.
• Resize large images - Resizes images in posts based on screen size. (SMF might actually have this functionality already...)
• Toggle image embedding - Allows users to choose between embedded images or only links to images.
• View single posts - Allows linking to single posts (like Giant in the Playground).
• Embedded Youtube Videos - Allows users to embed youtube videos into posts via BBC.

Administrative

• Ban link for mods in posts
• DNS Blocklist functionality
• Permission based BBC functionality

Miscellaneous

• Clicking avatar takes you to user profile

Some people have suggested that they would like the spoiler feature to hide things like Zuma events posted on the forums.

The "spoiler" feature can also be very useful for including large copy/pastes or other long chunks of text or images without making it take forever to scroll through.

I strongly second the request for the extension.

I think this would be helpful in filtering out OT threads and active threads on island which you are not interested in. It is compatible with the current installed SMF version.

installed, but I'm not sure if it's visible because we don't run the default theme - please check.

The user profile includes the sub-category to ignore entire boards, so it appears to be installed correctly. However, the link to ignore individual threads does not appear to be visible. The mod says an administrator has to enable "quick moderation".

You will need to enable Quick Moderation to use the feature. (which enables the checkboxes)!

If that is already enabled, and you have enabled the option to allow topics to be ignored, then it could be a conflict with the theme, I guess.

As it is though, it could still be useful for people to ignore the boards they don't want to see.

Can we please get the Spoiler function?

Not necessarily to hide IG spoilers, but for more practical formatting in threads with large amounts of info/text that can be made collapsible and hidden (most preferably with "click to show" function).
