Stormfell was Sev's brainchild. With the code changes to sea travel, it's going to be a lot more expensive to create.

Serious lulz.

As opposed to before, where every way out leads you to a fortified city.

Brillant.

Based on how Dhara was faring when the idea came into being, it would have been better than trying it now. You guys bounced back beautifully from the long winter.

Then they protested out the Banker who set them on the road to recovery for embezzling. It was a frame job, through and through ;). She's perfectly content in Luria now by the way. No Gornak around to make her braincells want to commit hari-kiri.

We always do. Wasn't the first time D'Hara starved. We did lose almost all of our regions before. And heck, it did cause squatters then too. In fact, it was only after then that we truly became prosperous and rich, we had never been rich before. The only difference was that the squatters had chosen Port Nebel instead of Paisly, and our capital was Paisly instead of Qubel Lighthouse.

Stealing gold from the realm does tend to make you get protested out. Did Jonsu actually embezzle or were you framed as you imply above? My character would have protested even if he knew Jonsu was innocent as he didn't care for you one bit with you putting your name in practically every election as he saw you as power hungry and not ever caring for the position you have but the position you hope for.

I always suspected Jonsu of spying. And besides, Jonsu was always a disruptive element. I didn't bother checking if the allegations were true, I was all too happy to go along with them. :P Jonsu going to the Lurias "confirmed" our suspicions. ;)

Swordfell is breaking in my 'realm-wide-rp' cherry. Bowie is hosting a grand ole' time in Flowrestown.

I suppose there are also some fun things going on in other places...

Roleplay from Sevastian Guile
Message sent to everyone in your realm (16 recipients)
Atop the outer walls of Skyreach Hold in Balance's Retreat, Duke Guile paces, muttering all the while. The pre-dawn Spring air is brisk, and a harsh wind makes his black cloak flare as he strides along, his retinue and personal guard in his wake.

"Damnable fools, off prancing about like ninnies when there is work to be done... Trust the flatlanders, they said! It'll be fun, they said! Bah! At least they leave the real men to work in peace," he comments as his Captain approaches.

"Your Grace, the bodies of executed prisoners are starting to get too numerous for our current storage. Permission to bury the remains?" the middle-aged Special Forces soldier asks cautiously.

"Burn them, they are not fit to rest in these Mountains. Not even a stable hand of House Ironsides will find solace in these stones."

...All that's missing is the maniacal laugh. Woelfy, I'm appreciating Sevastian's villainous nature more and more.
Eoric the Dim (Perdan), Enoch the Bright (Asylon), Emeric the Dark (Obsidian Islands)

Orobos, The Insatiable Snake (Sandalak)

Ya, I really liked that RP too Woelfy. It suited the moment perfectly after Enoch was wondering about Sevastian. Like the camera "cut to" Sevastian pacing back and forth. Juxtaposition was perfect  ;D
Ironsides Family, mainly East Continent and Dwilight. I dip my toe into Atamara here and there

Jonsu was actually fiercly loyal to D'hara up until she got protested out. The straw that broke the camel's back was the protests that started with "if the allegations are true". She had turned down an offer to join Luria prior to that. As for whether the allegations are true, I'll leave that unanswered. Ask Jonsu. Hilarious though that I got convicted of embezzling as Banker of D'hara... Twice. With two different characters.

Luria (Sevastian in particular) got lucky that the Himoura family is so infamous. Silly D'Harans tossing out the lovely Jonsu.

Mere rumors can have very real effects, apparently. Just like Obama being a Muslim socialist, right?  ;)

What is this?! The Commander-in-Chief of the USA has suffered slanderous attacks on his person and deemed him a threat to the security of the country?! Never!!

Well Constantine continuously supported Jonsu throughout her whole time in D'Hara, even when she was acting in a blatantly provocative manner, so her betrayal (which is really what joining an enemy realm is regardless of the circumstances) was something he took rather personally.

That said even while Constantine supported her I am pretty convinced on an OOC level that Jonsu was indeed embezzling funds. The message that gold was being stolen from the tax coffers had to have come from somewhere and her explanations/attempts to pin it on others don't make sense from an OOC/game mechanics perspective.
