Once the war between Lukon and Oritolon has completed there is likely to be a big change in things on the Colonies as well and all realm realms (Assassins I'm expecting to get back to a sensible level of strength, Minas Thingamewhatsit I'm not so optimistic for
).
For action now, go join Lukon or Oritolon. If you're content to just slowly get used to things, pick anywhere, there will be opportunities for everyone soon (disclaimer: 'soon' in relation to the Colonies could mean real time year or so...)
