How long will the war last?

I can't see either side surrendering to the other really... the Southern coalition is too large for the North to really beat into submission and the North will probably stubbornly watch their realm be uprooted if they start to lose.  Any guesses on how long this war will last?

Indirik

4-6 months, unless Caligus gets involved. I see Nivemus, and possibly Westmoor, taking lots of damage. Sirion and Perdan will mostly stay untouched.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

It will last till Nivemus has accepted Perdan's already offered terms of surrender (although some of them are already outdated).

Noldorin

I see no situation at all where Nivemus would ever surrender to Perdans terms. Firstly the terms are riddiculous enough to just disregard them, and finally Sirion and Nivemus gotten their war upon Westmoor. Surrender would without doubt put Nivemus and Sirion in a worse situation than any losses can ever make, so this is just out of the question. If Nivemus gives up all will be soon be back to where we were 3 years ago. Noone in the north wants this, and if this happens, we will go throught the old Sirion vs the west war again, and a new colony would be created. Definitly a waste of time.
Everything in my own immediate experience supports my deep belief that I am the absolute center of the universe, the realest, most vivid and important person in existence.

In the worst scenario, the last regions of Nivemus can join Sirion. And with the nobles and regions from Nivemus, Sirions is almost invencible as many people saw in the last great war.
Now with the Skovgaard Family... and it's gone.

Invincible and boring... History would repeat.

Well.. Sparks are running in the south as well. Till the day the South becomes united again I'm seeing the North as winners.
Just stay alive and kicking, raise your voice when its needed. Through reason you can show the mistakes of others, something violence can't do.

We'll see, this war is still very early, and Sirion has yet to unleash it's full potential so far as it goes, and Nivemus is still working out the kinks of being in it's first war. This war could go either way.

I swear whenever this forum gets a topic about a war, people act like children on a playground...

Trash talkin' on the court ain't got nothin' on trash talkin' on the forums.

(This is hilarious: my phone's autocorrect automaticly adds the apostrophe to "ain't".)

And Westmoor too.
Sound legitimate and possible best outcome.

Let see, my crystal ball shows that the 2 southern realms will war each other again. Only one realm can truly succeed Ibladesh and takes all its former lands.
