My apologies if this has been discussed but now that there is sea travel can we explore the possibility of lake travel? It would be so nice to take a boat/ferry to regions surrounding lakes.

I'm pretty sure it's rejected. Lakes would only have small fishing boats, not enough to carry an army.

Lake travel for adventurers/priests/nobles without unit...maybe a possibility.

On BT the lake is a sea zone though I haven't checked if it can be traveled.

Kuvio the Red traveled it after his flawless assassination attempt on the Praetor of Melhed.

So yes, they can be traveled. :P
