protesting someone out of office

How does someone get protested out? And is that be a deterrent to abusing their power?

Politics, Disagree or protest. Once a certain % of the realm's nobles protest, the person gets kicked out of office. A lower level of protesting will cause a loss of prestige points, which can continue for several days. The "silently disagree" option is less powerful, but if you have enough silent protests you can accomplish the same goal.

Thanks! This means there are in fact consequences if a judge is abusing his position.

Infiltrators are also a really effective way to get someone out of office.

They can but I don't know if I would say effective. If you are successful on quite an old character and have a little luck though, it can work.
