He's still around doing completely normal stuff like making scrolls.

He used some Scrolls of Fountain of Youth that removed his fatigue, but to his great dismay, did not help make him more youthful, or even appear to be. Alan does not like wizards, but at least now they actually give him scrolls when he gives them the proper materials. He is curious where the thieving wizards who only took materials and left went though.

You did what?! Fingolfin is searching with hats and candles for that scroll!

He only used two of them. They turned out not to be what the label said. Now Alan dislikes wizards even more. He suspects that the Scroll of Fireball he has will more than likely turn him into a giant fireball and burn him to ashes.

Alan's been learning to read and fighting the undead. This has let him sell two unique items in the past week for 1 gold apiece, and to gain recommendations. Here is the third and latest item in recent history that he has found.

Name   Type   Condition   Prestige   Bonus
Valiant Jacket of the Kings   Armour   65 %   + 7

Alan is not valiant and he certainly is no king, so he is happy enough to get it off his hands for one shiny gold piece.

Why Fingolfin wants a scroll of youth?

Alan could try to find my Breastplate of the Foolish :(
"Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces."

Now that would fit perfectly in the north! Even with our expensive war I could part with as much as 3-4 gold, or even more!

Because he feels he is getting old (5h per turn...) and wants to get young again! I have heard ooc that it doesnt really work like that, but Fingolfin doesnt know and he wants it! :)

Having no idea how they work, scrolls of youth sound like the most powerful scrolls of them all.

Used 3 of them. Lowered fatigue. Maybe different in the hands of a noble.

For the first time in his life of apparently 37 years, Alan has entered a woodland region. The thickness of the trees surprises him, and every crunching leaf as he steps through the forest makes him wonder if there is a tasty monster ready for him to slay, skin, cook, and eat, probably in that order.

I think we stop trying after he gets 99 in something. Is that how it works? 99th percentile or whatever?

Alan's work as a fake wizard is never over!

You carefully work the ritual inscribed on your scroll of Ecstasy.
You carefully perform the ritual described on the scroll, and when it finishes, you wait expectantly for something to happen. Nothing seems to. Disappointed, you clean up the area where you performed the ritual and start to head home, when you pass a comely peasant, and feel a sudden stirring of lust. By the time you have made it back, you have seen—and heard—many unmistakable signs that the scroll is working.

So the question now is whether Alan did anything with that comely peasant.
