Hey all,

Just to give an update: my current town has about 22 heroes in it, and we have 38 alive still on day 3. It is looking pretty good, so we should at least finish in the top 10 towns. I am considering making this my last town this season, although I might join some towns just to camp.

I've had it with the griefers, I'm for sharing our "shun-on-sight" lists. Here is mine:

all people that griefed and severely damaged a town. If I ever see them again, they will get a shun immediately and I'll ask the rest of the town to join in.

heh... apparently there's a "sure win" (well, not really) strat out there. someone is alive for 20 odd days and in french? server it's like 40 odd with basically same method.

Yeah, what the people (fodgeycakes) realised was that with pretty much all attacks occurring -where there are 10 people or less left in town- only 150 zeds will actually attack the people (and the rest will be 'lazy'). So what they did was build up their houses, and they managed to find two blueprint buildings that  increased their individual house defense even more. So the town effectively cannot die, unless they run out of water. The end of the season will likely spell the end of the town, however, and the end of the strategy.

How many people are still actively playing this, by the way?

I'm still, and so is our coalition :) Squishy said he'd be quitting after the current town, though. D'Este is cheerfully dieing on day 1, as always :D

I really want to play another town with both coalitions.

And I want us to check everyone else in the town on day one, and collectively shun everyone who is obviously a griefer (many banishments or hangings, or suspiciously day 1 deaths).

I'm sick and tired of the game being overrun by them. We need to clean out the town and then run it like a machine, guiding the newbies and helping them, and being absolutely ruthless to anyone who gets in our way. That way we'll have a chance of survival.

With 10 people in town, we can banish anyone we don't like.

someone got poisoned. then accused another person via soul page (in the town comment bit)
accused promptly got lynched, but then said it wasn't him via soul page.

personally no idea.. wouldn't rule out a suicide XD

As Tom said, if we all team up, we could try to shun everyone with a bad record. The griefing really hurts the game though.

It does. That's why I want to go into town with 10 people and shun all the griefers on day one.
