Letter from Zhukov Kuriga
Message sent to the Rulers of Dwilight (10 recipients)

The region of Caiyun belongs to all Astroists, but so long as it remains under the control of Astrum, this will never be so. Therefore we have decided to take the region by force, and save it from the theocratic rule that dominates the old SA church with politics.

Zhukov Kuriga
Druid of War of Helyg Derwyddon
Earl of Huanghai

Such a brave assault from HD, attacking a region cut off from the rest of its realm by the Lurians :p

I'm a firm believer in Realpolitik. That's the same reason we took the regions of Zhongyuan and Bohai from Morek Empire while giving our northern regions to Antiqualia. So taking a region that provides to a uniting symbol to all Astroists while Astrum is too busy to defend it is also within my aims.

If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

If wars were only fought for bravery... There would be so many foolish wars.

Its not different beyond ones definition of bravery. We aren't running our realm on some checklist of approved strategic actions. We do things to benefit our survival in so many different ways, bravery being one of them somewhere on that list. Sometimes things are done out of fear bravely.

Because I don't plan on forming any alliances. At most we will agree to recognize sovereignty over specific core regions, if I have my way.

Oh I totally agree it's completely fitting and IC. I honestly wish more wars were fought over border regions and less of these conquer and divide the enemey total wars. Especially when one side is willing to drag it out for multiple years because they can and are bored.

... most wars in BM are fought because people get bored :p

Thats why our realm will be active in starting small scale wars that do not involve large alliances. We will fight within immediate area and if we have any alliances they will be short term goal oriented alliances under a sort of contract and once achieved terminated. We aren't trying to rule Dwilight like the old kingdoms, we are going to try something different.
