I think a giant style change like this would be really hard to sell to many players who've grown used to the current maps and styles. I like the current style more, by the way.
So do I, but I'd rather have a usable, balanced map for good gameplay than keep using the unbalanced maps while using the current style. I suggest we test this using South Island, using one style for the political map mode and the other for dynamic.
