It sounds like we have at least a core of interested people.  What's the next step?  And how can I help?

This.  Consider this us talking to you, Tom.  Where are we headed and how can we help?

Zakilevo

Well I never played this before but it sounds pretty cool. I will play if this comes back :)

Tom

Well, the question is how exactly we want to do this.

May I suggest making it a forum game? SMF is flexible enough that we could include a few simple tools like dice-rollers or such.

The open question is whether you want some kind of engine for magical duels. If so, I do have a couple ideas...

Zane

Woot!  We have a forum. :-)  Thanks Tom!

Anthony (and/or anyone else who has it), would you please post whatever archival stuff you have for backstory/framing/ground rules for those of us who weren't part of the original SM?  Or are we tossing canon out the window and starting fron scratch?

Barbaric/Barbarians?

That's the one Zasod was from.  Barbaric Peoples.

Greg, I wasn't around for SM or SM2. Just the revival we attempted back from... late 04 to basically mid 06.  But I think I have everything that happened on the RP list or later the SM list that related to it.

For those who are interested in just participating in a story, not necessarily as a spellcaster or part of SM3 a sort of prelude has started in the SM3 boards.  Feel free to jump in wherever it fits in the story.  You're a passing merchant, a mercenary looking for work, a renegade priest run out from their order for having magical talent etc.

Lets play!
