Found in: Stronghold, Townsland, City. While I have two wine bottles at the moment, I suspect that they are harder to find simply because of their locations. What their actual level of finding difficulty is, I'm not sure.

It's a pain to find items in cities or even townsland regions... I generally just hope the Sage will ask for rural/woodland items ;)

If you sell items to a region, can another player buy them in that region again? I guess not, because it would require a huge databse for all items in all regions :P Trading between players would be most useful though! I can almost see the Merchant subclass emerge already ;)

No.

You can already do this.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

well, I meant as in trading for money (selling). Or is this possible already? Item value seems almost irrelevant now, unless when you're low on cash.

Indirik

No, I don't believe you can trade for cash. But you can demand favorable trades, such that you get more value that you give out.

How would that benefit the trader? The Sage doesn't seem to care about values.

Though I admit I've never tried to make a living out of trading items as an adventurer. I don't see the profit.

Trade a tent and a honeycomb for a diamond. Sell the diamond. Profit!

... surely it's more useful to keep the item than selling? sell an unique item and you get money.

My point exactly. What good is it to sell the diamond for 5 gold if it might get you an item worth at least the tenfold?

If you have three or four of them (or more), then why not sell one, and  use that gold for better accommodations to help you hunt more efficiently. Or to buy better gear so you don't get killed. I men, how many bear hides do you really need?

Even then, I'd rather trade away a bearhide for something I don't have yet. Selling seems such a waste :)

I'm inclined to agree. My advy is rolling in gold. The only things that i would consider selling would be junk and wooden statuettes.

Indirik

I spend all my gold on equipment. Doesn't help that the lord sin Libero Empire tend to not fill their bounty pots. It got so bad I left and traveled south.

Shizzle

Yes, so do I. But I still can't see any point in selling items :)

@the "if you have four diamonds" argument: how often does it happen that you have 4 diamonds?
