I'm glad we have people to make friends with, the Véinsørmoot does a good job of creating the feel of a community. (I'm the player of Vairaj, actually a returning old player, so I know better than to pass up an opportunity to talk to someone.)

I'm curious if you could shed some light on the ranking system of the guild, actually. Are there relevant ranks above Nobelis? What makes on an elder?

Actually, I wonder if guild treasuries could in some way be used to mimic financial markets-put gold into a region's treasury, allowing some to use it to invest, that market goes up. Take it out, that market goes down. Maybe certain people would be qualified to have a larger debt, but would also put more in?

For those of us not in Madina, could we perhaps be given a better idea of what's going on by seeing an example of "drill sergeant" orders?

If that is what I think it is, given their typical playstyle on other games I've seen before, this seems like a bad idea. They really don't seem like the BM type.

Helpline / A Question about Heroes.
« on: June 27, 2011, 04:56:58 AM »
So I'm considering playing a martyr(priest/hero) on one of my characters, and I'm curious about whether or not the new wounding system allows infiltrators to kill heroes? Obviously death is the big risk for heroes. but a priest isn't going to be in combat, so is the martyr name not actually accurate?

So I've just started a new character in Barca, and I'm curious about how people roleplay the various climates throughout Dwilight. It seems like people feel that the Marwood is almost more of a jungle, so I would imagine it and the surrounding area are quite hot? How far would this extend, e.g., would it be fair to say that slowed travel times in the Maroccidental "winter" are actually due to it being monsoon season or something like that?
