Hey everyone,

I've attempted to RTO a rouge region however I keep getting (beforehand so never getting the option) that the current realm (rouge) has a too solid control. I got this message in a region with the following stats:
Production:   Stopped
Morale:   Bleak

In other regions, with similar stats I did get the option to do an RTO. Does anyone know why this exactly is and what can be done about it? I tried causing unrest a few times, but to my knowledge it has helped little.

My char has 80+ oratory skills and the region is 99% converted.

You cannot perform a religious takeover of rogue regions. Yes, this is intentional.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

That is strange as I'm confident that I had the option in another Rogue region... And that does explain why I am not able to take the region then, too bad though.

The option appears, but it never succeeds. It should probably not be shown.

Didn't we used to be able to, though?

Can't claim netherworld regions either. Makes me quite sad. I want Fheuvenem and Ete back. :(

I agree, on top of that I'm pretty sure I'm not able to recruit soldiers. All I can recruit is low-life scum peasants and lower nobility that do my bidding... apparently I lost that ability as well hehe.

Actually, RTOs on rogue regions has been a reoccurring bug.  It breaks every now and then with updates.

Yes, RTO seems to be a reoccurring bug. I have a question on RTO. If the message come out saying you cannot conduct RTO due to solid control, why we do not have option to Badmouth Rogue? You know, those rogue who control rogue region. Heh.

It happened previously as link below:

Because in rogue regions, there is no remote government you can badmouth.

Can't you badmouth the lack of a government?

But there is government to badmouth.  And as priests, to declare the forces of evil.

QuoteThe peasants of Clermont have done something unthinkable - they have kicked out the local nobility and declared that they will be governing themselves from here on! Unbelievable! Peasants as rulers! The peasants within the rest of the realm will certainly take notice of this if we don't put down this anarchy quickly.

From the game's own description, there is some sort of ruling going on.  It's anarchy as far as the nobility is concerned, but probably some sort of council of elders or village leaders would be in power.

perhaps loyalty to rogue is basically 0 anyway?

Even more reason to raise up the charismatic priest urging a change in government up as their lord then, no?
