I was studying the new sea routes and it occurred to me that now a kingdom with a coastal region can now take any coastal region.

Kingdom maps are about to get real interesting.

WAR has just gotten real in BM

No, it can not. At this time, TOs still require a LAND connection to your realm. That will change soon, but as of right now, it has not.

or a direct sea route like Qubel Lighthouse and Sallowtown only now everyone has a direct sea route. How do you suggest that we handle such things.

Are harbors build able in all coastal regions? Or just cities, townslands, and strongholds?

Errr... why are you trying to argue with the guy who wrote the code? I think I know how it works and how it doesn't.

So, what... Luria can never conquer D'Hara's islands except as colonies?

No realm other than D'Hara can ever own multiple of the central islands on Dwilight?

If Astrum ever loses libidizedd, or Aurvandil loses Fatmilak, they can never reconquer it?

That... may need tweaking?

Good grief, can any of you read?

Some name ideas in Dwilight:

Forgotten Coast to Spur(red) Coast (Because of Aquilegia).
Sea of Silence to Nightingale Sea
Channel of Gelene to Emerald Channel.
Gold Coast to Griffin Coast.
The Ravielan Sea could become the Sea of Silence, given no boat ever navigated it (before making the sea zones of course). References to whirlpools and other phenomena to cause hardships in navigation, explaining why boats did not cross it, would also work.
The Northern Passage could also be the Storms Passage. Or the Summer Passage.
The Spring Coast could become the Dalian Coast.

What's the idea behind Seeker's Coast, Black Coast, Blue Coast, Shattered Shores, Blossomer Sea, Cobalt Gulf and Boiling Sea, btw?

To change any names now, I'd like to have a reason. :-)

I support JPierre's proposed changes. The reasons being the names he proposed are names that have been, at least somewhat, established through the IC culture of the game world, instead of just more random arbitrary names. Given the idea that we, the players, colonized Dwilight and that there is a full, active history of this colonization, it only adds to the uniqueness of Battlemaster that the names given to the sea zones would reflect those given to them by its early colonizers.

Seeker's Coast - Where morekians landed to establish morek :) shortened form of land seeker's coast or pioneer's coast.

boiling sea should have been located where cape of night is actually. was thinking lava would meet the sea there :o

shattered shores - there just happen to be a lot of islands.

Also, I am pretty sure Tom wants to avoid using names related to realms.

I guess Perth summed it up quite nicely. The links are all to explain the names and reasons. If in doubt with any of them, please ask.

Just like the Spring, White and Pirate Coasts? I'd prefer a different name, like the Order's Coast (in reference to old Morek Order), or even Star Coast.

Could work as the Wild Coast then, as together with the Kraken Coast these two have been the last ones to be settled. Or maybe another reference to that. Boiling Sea makes no sense right now.

Ok... I kinda like the name, though the reasons seems a little bit strange.

Wasn't it still standing realms?
