Indeed, D'Hara will be far more vulnerable: practically indefensible, IMHO.

If townslands cannot have shipyards, then Aurvandil will be able to pwn Terran even more than they already do.

All of the astroists would be able to just sail directly to Aurvandil's soft behind and siege Candiels, though.

name names, then we can look.

The empty space south of Cold sea and north of Cape of Night. Land regions: Aspar, Kosht, Kosthlom, Grympen Mire and then Ruins of Wulf-something.

That's off the Zuma coast, because the water there is too narrow. Imo, it's just as narrow east, though, and I don't like the harsh water explanation. I really think sea zones should be plopped there, so that people could sail around the continent if desired.

Exactly. A sea invasion is a high-risk gamble. It can pay off tremendously, but you could also be sending your army into a death trap. You've not yet seen what casualties are possible when you attack a heavily defended region - they are absolutely brutal. Invading a fortified region from the sea is like playing russian roulette - with trebuchets.

but that's sort of doing it "wrong"
you land somewhere safe then walk into the heavily defended areas. no? (obviously you have to know where it's defended in the 1st place...)

Does our little bay have sea zone? Call it ' Bay of Dreams' yeah thats awesome.

It's always been known as "The Silent Rush" in Terran, by way of the 'Formal' Dwilight Geography attempts.

It will be disastrous if you fail... usually, even if you lose, you can retreat with a fraction of your army but if you lose in the center of your enemy's realm, you will probably lose your entire army and have to build it from nothing...

It will really be interesting to see how the new feature will change how things work.

At least invading over sea in BM is not as bad as doing it in the real world. No soldiers getting sea sick and stuff.

What are you talking about? Most of them are for rivers, and the two that aren't are being used.

*Facepalms*

I didn't recognize it because somebody changed some names on the document– which is totally fine by me, I'm glad somebody added their own input. Now I feel a bit silly for not recognizing them.

Will the Sea Zones be added to the Political map? Would save some confusion.

Release it! ;)

I will release it on the Royal Navy of Aurvandil. Hehe..

We already have deamons 'working' for us, the kraken wouldn't be any harder to tame.  ;D

I think that when all is said and done that the sea routes will make BM more enjoyable.
