What is Freedom? - ye can tell; That which slavery is, too well; For its very name has grown; To an echo of your own

T'is to work and have such pay; As just keeps life from day to day; In your limbs, as in a cell; For the tyrants' use to dwell

Tends to happen when they (Ohnar West) sell food to people who are ostensibly their enemies (Kindara). <.<

Typical.

They had it coming.

I'm surprised it took my successor this long to finally commit action :P.
The adherents of different religions in a realm should compete for power, influence, and fresh converts. They don't even have to be killing each other to do so. I wish people promoted the prosperity of their religions the same way they promoted the growth and prosperity of their realms. - Geronus

good conversation but nothing I can use for the FB page - please write something up!

Sorraine has declared war on the heathens of Ohnar West, for selling food to Kindara while we were at war with them.

May Sartan guide our sword hands and the arrows of our bowmen, as well as the minds of our Marshals. Let them tremble in our righteous wrath as we cleanse this cancerous realm from the Far East!

During the war with Kindara, Derfel of Nbasah, the region that just flipped to Coralynth, refused to fight as it meant fighting alongside Sorraine. Derfel converts to Sartanism somewhere along the line, leading to speculation he was either a mole or troublemaker all along, given the timing of his defection, to a realm of Sartanists.

In othe news, Sorraine, which has been itching to spread Sartanism further north for a while, decided to pick on the realm that contributed more to the war with Cathay than Sorraine could with all that extra gold it had. Arcaean sponsored puppet realm decides the war isn't unbalanced enough, and joins the war on behalf of Sorraine.

Coralynth agreed to peace with Ohnar West in return for the latter ceding the region of Nbasah to the former.

This new peace was threatened when a spy from Ohnar attempted to steal gold from Coralynth and was caught. Ohnar banned the spy to maintain the peace, but the banned noble accused the Ohnarian Prime Minister of ordering him to Coralynth and then betraying him. Few believed the spy, because he's an idiot.

After being defeated by Sorraine in Attlel, Ohnar West licked their wounds in their capital and attacked again. This time they were victorious, and followed up by chasing the Sorrainians to Hosiel, capturing Duchess Taylin and Crown Prince Henzo during the battles.

The formation of the Arcaean Empire has just been announced, and Velax de Vere crowned as the first Arcaean Emperor.

The Empire is a federation of closely-knit realms whose Kings and rulers owe allegiance to the Imperial Arcaean Crown and the Emperor. The first realms of the Empire are Arcaea and Coralynth.

The Arcaean Empire existed before technically, no?

Velax

I don't know the details of the Far East's early history, but I believe the first Empire was just "Arcaea", and is the same Arcaea that exists now (the Realm ID number of 2 would seem to support this). I believe it was just one realm, and was probably referred to as an Empire because it covered half the continent, rather than because it was composed of multiple realms like the current Empire.
