Any idea why 2 protest messages received? Assuming it is 2 knights protesting, so 2 messages... :o

Does it mean she lost 2 prestiges instead of normal 1 prestige? :o

I can see how this is confusing, although intended behavior.

Maybe something can be added to the standard notification explaining for what position the protests are.

Perhaps title change? Like this:

I hate these severe penalties in the first place though.

You have 1 noble who can protest you out pretty much (I think, if you have like 3 or 4 nobles left only) while it does nothing cause the realm is !@#$ed anyway, and make you lose !@#$loads of honor and prestige. If you step down yourself you lose even more.

So basically, once a realm becomes smaller you don't want any government position cause it just screwes you over big time, even when you try to just save the nation.

Why would they protest you anyway if you're trying to save them?

Either way, haven't witnessed such cases myself. If you truly want an adjustment to the code, you might want to rile people up and open up a Feature Request. Other things changed too, with the lower player density.

I do think the code needs to be changed a bit more, in Swordfell, currently there were 3 knights protesting against one person. He was losing prestige every turn.  3 out of 20 knights isn't even a quarter of the people in the realm. Seems off

Just because you only see 2 people protesting doesn't mean there are only 2 people protesting.

Silent protests are a thing, remember.

True, but in this case I'm pretty damn confident that it's only 3 people.

Its a good idea Wimpie, but I would also suggest using the customized realm titles. And I was thinking, not to use every single title in the message, only the relevant one. So...

Protests against High Justice Katrina Dragul of Morek Empire are increasing, and result in a loss of a point of prestige for her.

I got protested cause I asked them to. I couldn't do anything while I was in the position and stepping down was even far more costly. "only" lost 2 prestige and 15 honor this way, stepping down would be far more brutal.

*facepalm*

And it never once occurred to you that this might be an abusive circumvention of the code?

Yes it did, which is why I waited a long time before doing so. But at the same time I thought it was rediculous that I would be punished so severely (stepping down penalty was insane) for trying to save a small realm, left in ruins.

What is the penalty for protesting out en pentalty for stepping down based on exactly in the first place?

You mean 2 knights and a Duke were publicly protesting. You don't even know how many lords/knights were protesting silently in addition to that from his own duchy...
